Do I need a Certificate of Insurance (COI) ?

We recommend you have one. It’s to protect you and us.  It’s fairly inexpensive. Let us know if you have an issue obtaining one.

I want to sell food.  Can I?

Maybe – but you will probably need a permit from Delaware Co. DOH. Contact us for more details.

Why is the Historical Society hosting the Heritage Festival?

Because we love Haverford Township and the super cool, often unknown by most, history of the township and the surrounding area. We also are in desperate need of funds to help maintain the buildings and our collection. Any proceeds raised from the Heritage Festival will directly benefit the Historical Society! Also, the Festival is super fun! If you have ideas, please join us in planning. It takes a village, as the saying goes. Learn More

Where is the festival located

The center of the festival is at Nitre Hall, in Havertown PA on Karakung Drive. It is a 0.2 mile walk from the Beechwood-Brookline Station on Septa’s NHSL (Norristown High Speed Line). Coming From Manoa Road, there is some limited parking there as well, and is about a quarter/half mile walk to the festival.
